President's Monthly Report
Excerpts from the speech delivered by Alena Mae S. Flores at the 2009 EJAP Board of Directors and Officers Induction:
"The new EJAP board is focused on doing more for the organization this year. I am very thankful that the incoming board has taken a proactive role and willing to take sacrifices by giving their valuable time and effort for the organization. Thank you guys.
We are embarking on ambitious projects this year even if time is very limited. The board has identified projects that we will focus on for each month of the year but we are very open to suggestions from you, our members.
One of the projects that we are looking at, and I am hoping that we can institutionalize this, is the EJAP Business Forum. The proposed economic forum is scheduled in the first half this year and will discuss economic prospects and issues faced by the industry during this time of uncertainty.
We are hoping that we can count on our partners in the industy and you our members to help make the event a success...
Your board will continue to move forward with the project. We hope we can emulate what our founders have done, by putting up the EJAP Homes in Quezon City. We have already started by reviewing the memoramdum of agreement with Pag-Ibig and we hope to sign the MOA soon.
EJAP will not only continue with our Corporate Social Responsibility projects this year but we hope to find ways to "give back" and help those who are under-privileged especially in the area of education..."
